Fraternity and Sorority members define academic and career assistance in many ways, such as peer-mentoring, grade counseling, accountability, time management, public speaking seminars, interview training, networking, study hours, and knowledge-retention. Fraternity and Sorority members are constantly awarded monetary scholarships for their outstanding academic performance and are often acknowledged and recognized for such success within the University.
The University of North Florida also hosts the academic and involvement Greek honor society Order of Omega. Fraternity and Sorority students with a 3.0 or higher GPA are eligible to apply for membership to the Order of Omega.
Fraternities and Sororities constantly endeavor to be above the All Men's and All Women's GPA as well as the All Student GPA. The stakes are even higher as chapters strive for the top GPA each semester.
