| Outstanding Advisor of the Year |
|
Awarded to one fraternity and one sorority advisor who demonstrates outstanding dedication to and attentive participation in his/her chapter and its members and knowledge of issues that surround the UNF Fraternity and Sorority Community.
|
|
| |
| Outstanding Volunteer of the Year |
|
Awarded to one volunteer who is not a designated chapter advisor and who demonstrates outstanding dedication and support of and attentive participation in his/her chapter or the UNF Fraternity and Sorority Community and its members. Additionally, this nominee also has pertinent and current knowledge of issues that surround the UNF Fraternity/Sorority Community. This individual may or may not be affiliated with a Fraternity/Sorority organization.

| Outstanding Scholar of the Year |
|
Awarded to one fraternity and sorority member who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to academics as a UNF student and as a member in good standing in their respective chapter.
|
|
| |
| Outstanding New Member Scholar of the Year |
|
Awarded to one new member of a fraternity and one new member of a sorority who demonstrates an outstanding commitment to academics during their respective new membership program.
|
|
| |
| Outstanding Contributions to a Council |
|
Awarded to one council member who demonstrates excellence in leadership, campus relations and chapter issues, and who has made significant contributions to his/her council in the UNF Fraternity and Sorority Community. Councils include GREEK COUNCIL, IFC, NPC, NPHC or Multi-Cultural.

| Greeks Setting Higher Standards |
|
Awarded to one Fraternity or Sorority individual who has shown enthusiasm, ongoing dedication and solid commitment to setting higher standards for their chapter and/or the UNF Fraternity and Sorority Community.
|
|
| |
| Outstanding Future Greek Leader |
|
This award recognizes a new member of the Fraternity and Sorority Community who has truly stood out from the crowd thus far with their Fraternity or Sorority involvement and is seen as a solid future Fraternity or Sorority leader. You may choose to nominate someone from within your own chapter or someone from another chapter.

| Outstanding President of the Year |
|
Awarded to one fraternity and one sorority chapter president who demonstrates excellence in leadership, campus relations and chapter issues, and who has made significant contributions to his/her chapter and the UNF Fraternity and Sorority Community. You may choose to nominate from your own chapter.
|
|
| |
| Outstanding Greek of the Year |
|
Awarded to one Fraternity man and Sorority woman of junior or senior class standing who demonstrates an active participation in activities inside and outside of his/her chapter and holds a high level of commitment to improving the Fraternity and Sorority Community. This person serves as a role model to younger members of the community and goes above and beyond any position, title or duties. You may choose to nominate from within or your own chapter or another chapter.

| Outstanding Chapter Fellowship |
|
Awarded to one Fraternity and one Sorority chapter that demonstrates a true sense of brotherhood or sisterhood and a strong intrafraternal spirit. Please nominate a fraternity/sorority other than your own.
|

| Outstanding Alumni Relations Programming |
|
Awarded to one fraternity and one sorority chapter that demonstrates an active role in promoting and improving alumni relations through programming, communication and continuous involvement.
|
|
| |
| Outstanding Scholastic Programming |
|
Awarded to one fraternity and one sorority chapter that demonstrates an ongoing active role in the improvement of the scholastic achievement of its members through scholastic programming.
|
|
| |
| Outstanding Campus Life and Leadership |
|
This award recognizes the chapter that, through its programming, makes a significant contribution to the campus and/or the greater Jacksonville community. This can be accomplished through participation or leadership in a program or a series of events over time. Campus Impact and Community Involvement (within the university and greater Jacksonville Community) should be the focus of this award application.

| |
| Outstanding Educational Programming |
|
Awarded to one chapter that demonstrates outstanding chapter programming for non-scholastic educational programs (for the chapter and/or for the UNF community) in such areas as new member education, continuing chapter education on values and mission, personal development, and awareness programming (issues such as rape awareness, alcohol responsibility, health issues, career preparation, financial responsibility, spirituality, and other issues facing college students today). Note: these programs may have been done jointly with another campus and/or outside entity or stand-alone through the chapter’s resources.

| Outstanding Community Service |
|
Awarded to one chapter that demonstrates dedication and unselfish service to the UNF/Jacksonville community in a service project(s). May only be through/for one UNF/Jacksonville organization or entity (family, church, business, etc.), but chapter members may participate multiple times throughout the year with that organization/entity. It may also be a one-time service project or multiple projects with that organization/entity. Note: If this application is centered on the chapter’s philanthropy, application must also detail community service provided by the chapter.

| Most Improved Chapter of the Year |
|
This award recognizes the fraternity and sorority chapter who has demonstrated the greatest improvement overall in terms of GPA Scholastic improvement, Fraternity and Sorority Community involvement, Campus Life involvement, Leadership, programming, diversity, philanthropic efforts, etc.

| |
| Chapter of the Year |
|
This is the highest honor bestowed upon only one fraternity and one sorority each year at the University of North Florida. This award takes into consideration all award applications and the qualifications of those individual awards in their entirety. And, although consideration is given to overall performance in those awards categories, criteria can and will involve determination of observed chapter performance throughout the past year.
